Within a safe and secure therapeutic relationship I help people understand, emotionally and intellectually, the deeper roots of their difficulties and re-engage their natural capacity for growth and development so they can have happier and more satisfying lives. I have advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and ongoing training in psychoanalysis. These approaches consider the influence of factors that are outside a person's regular, daily awareness and help people have a deeper understanding of themselves and what has gotten in their way so they can make better choices in the here and now.
