I specialize in treating mood and behavioral issues in children and adolescents who have suffered trauma. However, half of my practice is dedicated to treating adults, families and couples. I especially enjoy working with adult women who are struggling with relationship issues. Although a majority of my approach is based on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy, I can easily adapt therapeutic techniques to accommodate different age groups and levels of cognitive functioning. My empathetic style fosters trust and respect, and it's complimented by a dose or two of humor. A client's ability to be successful in therapy is strongly dependent upon the relationship they form with their therapist.
