I have been working in the counseling field since 2006 in community mental health agencies, private counseling organizations and residential treatment. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic mental health professional, able to customize and apply a broad range of treatment modalities and interventions to meet client needs. I specialize in counseling clients with life concerns which cause depression, anxiety and grief and loss, including: parent/child discord, reactive attachment, survivors of trauma (primary and secondary), sexual victimization, those facing life transitions, adjustment and interpersonal challenges including: sexual, gender, minorities, the elderly and alternative orientation. I work with clients to enhance motivation, self-esteem, self-confidence, recovery and healing. I am also able to consider generational, psychological, socio-cultural spiritual and holistic life experiences in understanding human behavior. I am dedicated to supporting clients in attaining their personal goals and improving overall functioning and a feeling of well-being. I am experienced with children, adolescents, adults, groups, couples and families of every composition.
