Are you the parent of a child or teen struggling with social, emotional, behavioral, academic or family issues? I am a licensed Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with 20+ years of experience helping families effectively deal with all matter of challenges. As a counselor-therapist, I will use your strengths, interests and talents to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your (child's) needs. I will also involve your family in the treatment process when indicated, an important factor in the most successful treatment outcomes. NOTE: I AM NOT A PSYCHIATRIST AND DO NOT PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS . I have extensive experience working with youth struggling with depression, anxiety, autistic spectrum and behavioral disorders. I can work with the entire family, an identified youth, a parent & child or just the parents, if education & coaching are needed. Your child/adolescent can take home effective strategies at the first visit. I have extensive experience working with youth in severe crises. Whether you or your child are struggling to adjust to a life change/situation, need help w/parenting or dealing with increased stress/anxiety, I want to work with you. I have evening and some Saturday appointments available now.
