I work with individuals and couples who are interested in improving their quality of life and cultivating more fulfilling relationships. I enjoy helping my clients experience growth, trust, empowerment, and connection in their lives. By working collaboratively with clients, I help them better understand themselves and work through personal challenges and transitions. In the therapy room, I acknowledge and appreciate how identity and cultural issues impact clients' experiences, with respect to race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation. I welcome the exploration of non-heteronormative identities and relationships. My specialty areas include relationship concerns (couples therapy), LGBQ+ and trans*- affirming therapy, and substance use concerns. My specialty is couples therapy. I see relationships, of all kinds, as the most powerful tool we have in our day to day lives. Using specialized training in the Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy for couples, I help couples reach their goals and feel empowered and healed by their relationships. It is important to me that my clients feel safe, heard, and understood. I am honored that clients trust me to hear their stories and walk beside them on their therapeutic journey. Sometimes, it truly is about the journey, not just the destination.
