Experience can make all the difference when looking for an auto mechanic, doctor or a mental health professional. My license says Marriage and Family Therapist but in my past 25 professional years I've become skilled in depression and anxiety issues ifor all ages as well psychotherapy for more extensive problems. Relationship problems are often the cause of the depression and anxiety of course, but often hidden by behavioral acting out. The misery we all experience due to the stress of daily activities will often tip the scales to seeking help and that's where I can help. A problem I've been treating for about 15 years is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This overwhelming affliction affects the military, civilians, victims of beatings, injuries, rape, verbal abuse, and injuries in autos and other equipment. Special techniques have been developed to help. I often ask people to do writing assignments and keep a journal. This do-it-yourself-therapy hastens feeling better and total recovery. My philosophy is that people are similar to flowers. They become stunted with out the caring and support of some one to turn them toward the sunshine.
