It takes courage to reach out and involve a counselor in our most intimate of life's struggles. I honor that courage. My goal is to provide a safe and judgment-free environment for you to process what's going on in your life. Making a connection with a counselor you trust is so important. I chose to do this work because I am passionate about helping people, and maybe more so, because I have personally experienced very powerful changes in my own life from facing my "stuff" with a therapist I trusted. I believe in this process. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, blended family relationships, marital and couple relationships & family issues, life transitions, self-worth issues, and women's issues. I am also passionate about working with teens and helping to foster healthy emotional growth early to set them up for success in the future. *Free* initial session (30 minutes). Creative approaches to therapy can often be helpful. I sometimes use Art Therapy, Journal Writing, and bimodal therapy (essentially, walking outdoors) when appropriate.
