I believe that we all have the inner wisdom necessary for leading a life that is happy and rewarding. We are sometimes presented with challenges that can make it difficult to connect with this inner strength and clarity. I utilize a consultative approach that recognizes and builds upon each person's existing self-knowledge and skills. I tailor my interventions to effectively address each individual's unique needs, goals, and challenges, drawing upon my 30 years of clinical experience and evidence based therapeutic interventions. I provide individual therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of life challenges including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, co-occurring substance abuse/dependence, trauma recovery, relationship concerns, grief and loss, as well as the self-management of chronic pain and other chronic health conditions.
