I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. I have worked with hundreds of individuals, couples and families over the past decade and feel an immense amount of gratitude and fortune to be able to join with people at various stages throughout their lives. Types of Clients Seen: Adolescents,Young Adults, Mid-age Adults, Older Adults, Couples Families Issues/ Challenges Explored: Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, Post-traumatic Stress, Grief and Bereavement, Life Transitions, Relationships, Existential challenges, Spirituality, Identity, Family dynamics, Social challenges, Multicultural dynamics, Sexuality, Gender, Personal Growth Areas of Specialty: I work with several different ages and populations; however, my specialty lies in working with children, adolescents and young adults ages 10-25. Areas of my work include, but are not limited to, young people experiencing: substance abuse, social struggles, depression, anxiety, self-harm and other developmental challenges. Experiential modalities such as: expressive art therapy, music therapy and adventure/ recreational therapy. My office is located 3 miles from Sope Creek hiking trail. I find that it is often times tremendously beneficial to work with clients in nature. I have worked with many young people returning from Wilderness Therapy programs and Therapeutic Boarding Schools.
