As a Licensed Associate Counselor, my desire is to partner with clients to help them find hope and healing. Using evidenced-based treatments, I strive to be a light in the lives of my clients and provide them with insights and tools that will help them to accomplish their goals. While the therapeutic approaches are important, I believe the unique relationship between client and counselor is a major factor in the healing process. Each individual is unique, and it is important to counsel the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I specialize in individual, couples, and family counseling using a variety of approaches based on the needs of the client. My experience includes working with issues related to anxiety, depression, identity, relationships, spiritual integration, grief, trauma and abuse. My beliefs and worldview as a Christian guide me as a therapist. Prior to my work as a counselor, I served as an educator, small group leader, coach, and administrator in both public and private Christian education. These previous roles have provided over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents and families.
