I look forward to helping you learn about yourself when you ask "Why?" Many of my clients often ask questions like "Why am I unhappy?" or "Why is my relationship so hard?" or "Why does it seem so hard for me, but easy for others?" Sometimes they state "I would be happy if I ..." These are good questions to ask, and there are answers to those questions and many others that can be discovered in a therapeutic counseling relationship. I began working with clients in 1992. Over the years my clients ranged from children, adolescents, single, married and elderly. I learned a lot from the various settings where I met clients (Community Mental Health agencies, Case Management, Hospital based services, and in Private Practice). I started out working with young people with severe behavior problems and their families, and still enjoy working with young people. Over all these years, and all these clients, some were motivated to change, some ambivalent about change, and some even court-ordered. I look forward to helping you.
