I believing in helping people discover their hidden resources to cope more effectively with the difficulties of life, including bereavement, complicated grief, mood disturbance, depression and anxiety. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to cultivate emotional coping skills, to find creative solutions and to achieve preferred outcomes. Expressive approaches include pastoral counseling, spiritually integrated therapy, and therapeutic music, I taylor therapy to the needs and resources of the individual for the healing of mind, body and spirit. My specialties include counseling for complicated grief and trauma, EMDR, anger management, couples counseling, and treatment of mood disorders. I also offer "The Record Healing Project" in which clients can write and record their own song in the musical style of their choice to work through grief and loss. I accept most insurance, Humana, Anthem, Value Options, Cigna, MHN, Aetna, and ComPsych. I am also an EAP Provider. Private pay fee is $70 per session. For those who demonstrate financial need, I have a sliding scale.
