I specialize in assisting children, teens and their families identify and implement solutions for their presenting problem. This includes but is not limited to behavioral disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, divorce recovery, family conflict, learning disabilities, school struggles and peer conflict. Additionally, I serve young adults who are adjusting to and coping with the many challenges associated with college life and/or transition from parental dependence to independence. Understanding and empowering people of every age to establish self confidence, self-awareness and the emotional ability to clarify and accomplish their goals is my role in the therapeutic relationship. I utilize research based evidence and interventions while prioritizing authenticity and genuine relationship to serve my clients. Children who struggle with behavioral or mental health related issues are not always comfortable in an office setting. For this reason and for accurate assessment and treatment of children, I work with children in a variety of settings, depending on their unique needs and the comfort level of the child.
