I want to work with people to find new ways of understanding their lives so they can DO things differently in order to reduce stress and conflict. My therapeutic approach is active, practical, caring, solution-focused, values-oriented, and sometimes humorous. I engage people where they presently are in their lives in an effort to help them get to a new and better place. My specialty and passion is working with adults, teens and children who are depressed, anxious and overwhelmed. My major focus is on individual, family, parenting and marital issues as well as learning disabilities and ADHD evaluations. My main specialty is helping people find what works best in making life changes. I've been married for over 40 years. My wife, Linda, is also a licensed professional counselor and we practice together in a faith-based setting. We have two grown children, four terrific grandsons and one goofy golden retriever. My passions are my faith, my family and helping people make positive choices.
