As a licensed therapist and member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), I work largely with women in treating a range of sexual, relationship, and intimacy concerns. I see clients from both heterosexual and LGBT communities. It's important to me to create a safe and collaborative experience to facilitate open and real discussion around subject matter that may seem hard to talk about. Whether we are going through a particularly difficult time, or have had concerns over a longer span, I think of therapy as a way of freeing ourselves from the obstacles which prevent us from moving forward. Sometimes, we try to face these challenges alone - this is unnecessary and perhaps limiting. We will work together using a variety of treatment modalities to address your needs and reach your therapeutic goals. Sometimes, starting can be the hardest part. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation before our first meeting so that we may see if we might be a good fit.
