In my practice, I see children, adolescents, parents and adults. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have worked within the fields of trauma and mental health for over 20 years. I believe the foundation of belonging, sense of well-being and change is grounded in how we interact and are supported by others. Whether you are struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety, parenting, family conflict or past experience with trauma, I view my role as someone who is neutral and a facilitator of the process in which self-worth is strengthened and individuals are supported to develop to their full potential. Therapeutic approaches are grounded in strengths-based practices that are evidence based. I have been trained in Solution Focused, Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Relational and Developmental approaches. My focus is to meet people where they are, help each person decide personal goals and support them to identify steps to meet those goals. We all deal with challenges thrown upon us by circumstances that seem out of our control. Sometimes, it can be difficult to see through our situation and find a way out on our own. I see my role as a support and guide.
