I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Colorado. I have also spent 3 years as a medical student at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I have extensive life and work experiences that provide an advantage for me when working especially with Preteens, Teenagers, Adults, and Couples. My approach is a blend of theoretical disciplines that include EMDR, dialectical and cognitive behavioral therapies and solution focused therapies because not every client is the same. I am culturally sensitive and diverse, and treat various stages of behavioral health issues. My background in medicine allows me to work with clients suffering from medical issues and grief & loss. My areas of capability include Depression, Abuse, Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Trauma and Problem Gambling. I have over 5 years of experience in the Mental Health field, 6 1/2 years of experience in the organ transplant field, and over 4 years of experience in the field of healthcare.
