As the former clinical director of a community behavioral health in Anchorage, I have experience providing therapy to a wide range of ages including: children, youth, families and adults experiencing a variety of challenges. I work with youth who experience disruptive behaviors, acting out, and substance use. I also provide care to individuals who have experienced abuse/ neglect and other adverse experiences in a trauma informed manner. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and individuals on the autism spectrum. I also provide forensic behavioral health assessments for the court, illuminating an individuals treatment needs. My specialty is working with individuals who engage in sexually problematic behavior, behavior that has caused strain in an individuals relationships or a behavior they would like help stopping. Additionally, I work with teens who have have sexually offended, and I am a DOC approved sexual offender treatment provider. I provide therapy in a straight forward supportive manner, partnering with clients, and using research supported practices to help them find solutions for the challenges in their lives. My treatment approach balances the individuals journey of self-exploration, learning new skills and becoming accountable for ones actions.
