I treat older adolescents, adults and couples in psychotherapy. I use an interactive, psychodynamic approach in which I help clients understand how problems in their early relationships with their parents and siblings affect their current intimate and work relationships. I help individuals discover and work through underlying issues which are causing anxiety, depression, or other unwanted behaviors, such as eating disorders or relationship disturbances. I worked as a staff psychologist in the Eating Disorders Program at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation for several years, where I treated individuals in therapy, conducted group therapy, taught seminars and supervised psychology externs. I am married and have two sons.
