Scott believes that becoming human is a project, and our task is not so much to discover who we are, as to create ourselves. During therapy he works with clients to examine one's personal values, beliefs, goals, interests, attitude and perceptions of reality. Scott also assists his clients with stress management, personal growth, balance, career development, motivation and time management. Furthermore, he specializes in mood stabilization for individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Scott enjoys working with a diverse clientele, but he has spent much of his career working with medical and business professionals, college students and the LGBT community. During therapy, you will actively explore your mood, thoughts and behaviors in hopes of learning how to take control of life. Therapy is an organic and naturally unfolding process whereby the therapist and client collaborate to define the goals of therapy and the means of achieving those goals in an open, supportive, and confidential environment. Observe anyone at the top of their game and the results will likely be the same; they've all had valuable guidance and direction.
