Kara Subler provides a holistic, strengths-based approach to counseling. She believes all aspects of life-mental, physical, social, and spiritual-are important for change. Kara's own strength lies in creating a warm, accepting, client-centered environment where clients feel safe to honestly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Kara understands that each client has different needs and those needs will determine the course and direction of therapy. She believes it is her job to partner with the client to help them discover their inner strength and use that power to grow into the person they want to be. Kara has experience treating a broad range of mental and emotional concerns including, but not limited to: Trauma & PTSD; Physical, sexual & emotional abuse; Grief & loss; Anxiety & depression; Relationship & familial problems; Cultural adjustment; Human trafficking; Weight loss; Oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD & children on the Autism spectrum.
