I see clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and spiritual conflicts. I also work with those who are experiencing hallucinations or other mental aberrations. My clients are seeking freedom from the bondage of their past, peace of mind in the present, and a solid sense of personal identity and life direction. They desire a holistic approach to mental health - addressing issues of mind, body, and spirit in order to achieve overall wellness. They are looking for a Christian counselor who is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and attentive to direction from the Holy Spirit in session. My counseling style is honest and straight-forward. I value my clients highly and enjoy finding the gems within them. I specialize in cognitive, somatic, and psychodynamic therapies, as well as integration with spiritual health. Working on breaking down barriers to a strong connection with God is often the capstone of my clients' therapeutic journey. I have a degree in cognitive science (brain science) and use lots of education in my practice. My clients learn about how their brains work and how to take more control over their minds. I believe in holistic treatment, so I consult and refer with other health practitioners as needed.
