I specialize in forensic (legal) evaluations. I most often work with individuals involved in some aspect of the legal system. I have broad-based experience in competency and diminished capacity evaluations, assessment of mentally ill and dangerous persons, and violence risk assessment. Most of my referrals come from attorneys, though I encourage potential clients to contact me to discuss my services. My fees are based on the specific aspects of the referral and are considered quite reasonable. Forensic psychology is a very broad area that combines the legal (civil and criminal) world with the psychological world. My practice is devoted primarily to criminal matters. I conduct psychological evaluations of individuals involved in court processes. I can tailor an evaluation to meet the needs of most clients and attorneys. I specialize in sexual offense cases, but have experience in competency and diminished capacity evaluations, assessment of mentally ill and dangerous persons, and violence risk assessment. I am also quite adept in assessing complicated cases with unclear or unusual referral questions.
