Sometimes our lives become so complicated that we all need an outside, non-judgmental person to provide a compassionate ear and assistance in reconnecting with the innate wisdom that gets confused or forgotten due to stress, trauma, transition, and a complicated lifestyle. My therapeutic strengths lie in an ability to help my clients quickly identify their strengths and utilize them to problem-solve and feel better. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children/adolescents presenting with a variety of challenges: excessive worry/anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, self-harm behaviors, substance abuse, life transitional stress, and stresses related to the military lifestyle. I have over 20 years working in the human/behavioral health fields. My experience includes: mental health counselor/clinician, military family support, psych evaluator, health promoter, guidance counselor. My practice honors and accepts all ethnicities, creeds, and social/sexual orientations. My greatest satisfaction comes from being witness to my clients healing and feeling better!
