My curiosity about people's lives, relationships, feelings and the way they create meaning is at the heart of my practice in psychotherapy. I am deeply interested in the complexities and possibilities of family life. As human beings, we all must negotiate daily the emotional landscapes of our families, past and present. I have been doing that with adults, children and families in various capacities for over twenty years. I treat adults and children, with an emphasis on Early Attachment, Infant Mental Health, mothers with infants, toddlers and young children and the challenges of new parenting. I am both Psychodynamically and Family Systems trained, so I always consider the family context when treating anxiety, depression, behavior or adjustment problems. I offer mother-infant psychotherapy. I work with many adopted children and families. My approach is relationship based and present focused, while always attending to the relevant past.
