The primary scope of my practice focuses on "at risk youth," and women's issues. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depression, including, but not limited to the treatment of postpartum depression, and/or other diagnoses associated; specifically those youth struggling with the effects of trauma. Every person is unique in their own right, therefore my "clinical style" is quite instinctively relational, and empathetic. I believe it is essential to first build healthy client-clinician relationships, in an effort to apply an appropriate treatment modality of care. People have an inherent ability for self-understanding, and positive change when genuinely supported through the counseling process. The counseling process will involve clarification of concerns, relationship building, and goal setting. I have an interest in educating and supporting individuals to draw from personal strengths, seeking to help you in identifying and attaining future goals.
