When the world feels out of balance I can help you obtain the leverage to get your life back on track. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I have experience working with both adults and adolescents. I am a open minded person that comes from a place of empathy and understanding. My office is a safe haven for you to let go and truly be yourself without any restrictions or judgement. My specialty areas include substance abuse, dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders and chronic pain. I spent the last year working in inpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. I also have experience with teens who are suffering from bipolar, self - injury behaviors, ODD, self esteem problems and peer acceptance issues. I predominately use cognitive behavioral therapy with my clients. This type of therapy is action oriented keeping goals in mind. It is one of the most commonly used therapies because of its effectiveness and adaptability to each individual client. I also enjoy using relaxation techniques like guided imagery.
