Have you tried to stop looking at pornography but seem unable to do so? Have your sexual relationships created personal, relational, or financial problems for you? Do you feel caught in a cycle of behavior that you seem powerless to control? If so, you might be dealing with a sexual addiction, and I'd love to help. Sexual addiction is an increasingly pervasive struggle for many people, and can result in broken relationships, financial or legal trouble, and tremendous shame and hiding. Unfortunately, you can't fight this alone, but the good news is you don't have to. Freedom from addiction is possible for those who want it. My desire is to journey alongside hurting individuals to bring light into dark places, hope in despair, and freedom from the things that keep us enslaved. To do this, I combine practical help with an emphasis on your unique story. I am currently in the process of undergoing the extensive training offered by Patrick Carnes and IITAP to become a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT). At Charis, I provide individual and couples counseling that integrates with your specific recovery model (12 step, reGROUP, L.I.F.E. group, etc.)
