I would like my clients to be happy and accepting of who they are and realize that a satisfying life is possible. Personal relationships are a large part of life satisfaction. Relationships can help to shape who we are. Sometimes a third party can give great insight into the dynamics and structure of a relationship and help solve problems. Time to talk with someone who listens only to you and is invested in improving your life is a very valuable process to experience. My resume includes work with clients and families experiencing Dementia and mental illness in the family, emotionally disturbed adolescents, victims of rape, and suicide. I really enjoy work with couples. Relationships require attention and care in order to succeed. I believe in the power of the therapeutic process. I honor the opportunity I am given to share that personal and private experience with my clients. Change is often difficult and can provoke anxious feelings. Having support during the process of change is important. A new perspective is essential.
