I offer a seasoned, professional outlook of over 25 years in private practice. Able to capture the gist of your situation fairly quickly , I will give you helpful feedback during our first visit. My background includes faculty positions at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and California State University, Los Angeles. A former President of the Central Florida Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, I have a Master's Degree in Public Health and PhD in Counseling Psychology. My unique experiences in many diverse settings contribute greatly to seeing the overall picture and pointing you toward your options. My Dissertation was on parent alienation and this study and interest led me to my work in helping to reunite children with parents who are or have become estranged. This often happens as a result of divorce processes. I enjoy teaching parents how to bond again and successfully coparent. Due to the intense nature of the reunification consultation and coaching, I only accept a very small number of these cases at a time. Clients with a variety of other issues make up the majority of my practice (and give me balance!) Licensed Clinical Supervisor for LMFT and LMHC Interns.
