Life can be tough. We experience loss, anxiety, struggles in relationships, sadness, low self-esteem, lack of direction or motivation, trauma, rejection, abandonment and the list goes on and on! Engaging in the counseling process can help bring insight, relief, healing, and growth regarding any of these difficulties. As a counselor, I offer you a safe and comforting place in which the change process can occur at your own pace. Having someone in your life that listens to you and seeks to understand you can be a very uplifting and empowering tool. I can be that for you. I particularly enjoy working with women who are struggling in their journey to find peace, joy, and contentment. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents dealing with low self-esteem and relationship problems. I have worked in a number of clinical settings including private practice, school -based, and a domestic violence shelter.
