Maybe you feel like a strawberry among coconuts -- juicy, but thin-skinned, and easily crushed. Big emotions, troubling behaviors, harsh or anxious thoughts, and difficult relationships can overwhelm a strawberry-like (sensitive) person. Getting out from underneath takes steady work, yet just below that suffering awaits your wholeness, the juiciness with which you were born but have lost or can't remember experiencing. Particularly if you are strawberry-like, my mindfulness-based practice can help you connect with your inherent juiciness while discovering ways to roll forward, newly skilled, strengthened, and wholesomely intact. Mindfulness-based approaches help you get underneath your suffering -- mood-swings, depression, chronic stress, self-harming behaviors-- to your own well-being, which has been there all along. Most of us long for connection with our core wholeness, and all of us need encouragement in living from it. Unique to my practice is years of experience and training in mindfulness-based approaches.
