Have you been feeling down, hopeless or just stressed out? Have you spent sleepless nights where your mind just won't seem to shut off? Are your relationships with others struggling? Well, you're not alone! Taking a collaborative strengths based approach I aim to empower and promote personal healing from within. By meeting each client where they are on their individual journey, I encourage healing and growth through an atmosphere of compassion. I have extensive experience working with both adult and child victims of trauma and abuse. Additionally, I am passionate about working with adults managing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction and grief . I have been trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and use this regularly in session. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Solution-Focused and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques in counseling to further treat the mind, body and spirit. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) as well as a full member of EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
