I have had much experience working with adolescents, adults, older clients, and couples. I use a variety of approaches derived from strength based, cognitive behavioral, ego psychological and family system theories I work with individuals and couples where there are family issues, workplace issues, discrimination based on color, age, or sexual orientation. I am particularly sensitive to discrimination based on the above. I am an older therapist and try to bring a lifetime experience to my work. I am a professor emeritus of social work at the University of Michigan
