Everyone has a need to feel healthy and whole, with a sense of pleasure and renewal in their lives. My approach uses people’s strengths in order to help them get in touch with their own inner resources so they can manage change with creativity and courage. I am certified in EMDR, an effective treatment for major and minor trauma. It can help you gain mastery over the helplessness and confusion caused by trauma. EMDR can be used for a variety of issues, including PTSD and overcoming fears of public speaking or writer’s block. My approach is warm and caring. I draw from both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral perspectives to help you become freer, more authentic, and more connected to others.
