As a registered expressive arts therapist and Reiki Master, I bring a unique blend of skills, and more than 25 years experience, in helping individuals re-frame their life stories and create more fulfilling lives. Using the expressive arts,Dreamwork, Reiki, Narrative and Transpersonal psychologies, I support you in developing the confidence that is needed to see in order to clearly move through the pain and grief of life experience and become an agent of and for change. .At times, when appropriate, I work with my husband and partner Michael Watson,PhD, LCMHC,in sessions. Counseling via Skype is available. For people who have experienced trauma, and profound grief and depression, it is important to address concerns of parenting, relationship, illness, and loss. By exploring and rebuilding your life story through the creative process, supportive and meaningful rituals Overwhelming suffering are replaced by feelings of hope, change, resilience, and happiness. Having a life long disability has taught me much about challenges within myself and society, disability, and healing. I offer a sense of humor, and compassion, and encourage acceptance of ourselves for who we are. In life, we change what we can, learning to forgive ourselves in the process.
