I serve adults, children, and families that are currently struggling emotionally or behaviorally. My professional focus is working with people that are affected by trauma, adoption issues, or struggling with attaching to those close to them. Because many of these issues happen within families, often family therapy is used to heal wounds. When you are struggling, it is often hard to see hope or the light at the end of the tunnel. Our primary attachments in our lives form a roadmap for all future relationships. When trauma or an attachment break happens, that throws us off course reeling and hurting. I help others find their compass to their roadmap of relationships so they can find joy in their lives and others again. To do this, I utilize several different approaches depending on your needs. Some modalities that I often use are: Theraplay, Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Narrative Work. I will create an empathetic, calm atmosphere for you and your family to come together to heal.
