People seek therapy for a variety of reasons. Ultimately, they want to find more satisfaction in life, in work, and in their relationships. I treat adults and adolescents who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and interpersonal problems that prevent them from feeling fully satisfied. I work individually, with couples, and in groups, and will recommend one or a combination of modalitites depending on what I feel would be best for the individual.The many issues I work with include relationship concerns, depression, anxiety, loss, grief, and trauma. I enjoy working with adolescents as well as adults and find it very rewarding to help my clients work towards emotional growth, greater resilience and increased self-fulfillment. I believe therapy can be successful when the client is motivated and the therapist is creative. I have a particular interest in understanding the creative process. How can an individual access creativity? What are the blocks? When these questions are applied to couples and families, do we influence one another's creativity? If so, can we do that in a way that benefits everyone?
