Individuals over 65 are the fastest growing demographic in the United States, yet often folks feel as though they are invisible, alone and forgotten. I provide consultation, assessment, intervention, and ongoing support with each individual and their family to re-establish a sense of self and an identity that is authentic. I have an office space for face to face meetings and am willing to meet folks in their homes depending on their needs and preferences. I offer assessments (part of which could include cognitive screening), diagnostics, a treatment from an ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) perspective. Often I find that folks who are thinking they need therapy, actually need linkage to services in the community. If they had access to services they would have marked improvement in their lives. I have a deep knowledge of resources in this state that could be exactly what is needed.
