Families are facing new and difficult challenges, from economic stressors to online activities. Today’s youth face situations their parents weren’t exposed to, resulting in confusion regarding rules, boundaries, relationships, and expectations. If your family is struggling to address modern “growing pains,” I can help you simplify these complexities. Humor and warmth are my favorite tools to engage children, teens, and parents in the process of therapy, whether dealing with ADHD, behavioral issues, parental divorce, or anxiety. Guiding families through difficult times by providing new ideas, a listening ear, and the support necessary to make positive changes in their lives results in families functioning better than they might have imagined possible. Today’s families need solution-focused ideas to enhance harmony at home. In addition to traditional individual and family counseling, I offer food allergy coaching services for individuals and families adjusting to new (or not-so-new) lifestyle changes and challenges related to food allergies and food sensitivities.
