Most of my clients come to me with initial concerns of anxiety, depression and relationship turmoil. But at the core, the issues so often relate to the client's negative self-esteem, guilt and a persistent sense of not living up to one's potential. What I establish in the very first session is that here, within the safety of our therapeutic relationship, the client will find the strength to explore these negative feelings. My clients find me empathic, insightful, safe and deeply present. Knowing that most problems arise within an interpersonal framework, I treat individuals, couples and families. I have worked for many years with a wide range of "family"-traditional, step, LGBT, and single-parent. The basis for healing in the therapy that I offer is relationship-based on acceptance, flexibility, compassion, and, most crucial, trust.
