I am psychotherapist who works with children and adolescents ages 6-18. Emotional and behavior problems such as mood swings, fears, excessive anger, sleep issues, sadness, parent/child conflict and social isolation are all reasons children/teens attend therapy sessions in my office. I identify the cause of distress, set goals for therapy and use custom techniques to get kids back on track and loving their life. My approach toward children and teens is based in "positivity"; where one's strengths are highlighted and used to create a desired outcome. Kids live in the moment and respond to therapy where the outlook is bright and change is always attainable. Hidden factors such as allergies, nutritional deficits, and learning differences can cause or contribute to mental health concerns. I offer comprehensive care through collaboration with a cooperative care team including a leading child psychiatrist, a sensory occupational therapist, a neuropsychiatric evaluator, a parental life coach and many educators.
