Please note that I am not accepting new clients at this time. Professional Background---- I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Tennessee and completed master's-level clinical training at Vanderbilt University Psychological and Counseling Center. I work with clients to develop insight and learn new strategies to help address problems and heal emotional pain. I help my clients learn to use new skills and change unwanted patterns in their lives. I am also trained in EMDR I and II, an evidenced-based therapy for treating trauma and other associated issues. Treatment Approach---- I believe that clients are resourceful, capable individuals who need new strategies and a supportive, safe space to work through issues that are causing problems in life. I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental environment so that clients feel comfortable and supported as we work through issues together. Clinical Focus---- I work with a wide range of issues, including: Depression, Anxiety, Marital Problems / Couples Counseling, Trauma, PTSD, Loss and Grief, Addictive Behaviors, and Relationship Problems to name a few. I treat Individuals, Couples and Families in counseling. My counseling fee is $100 per one-hour session.
