I like to help folks who have depression, anxiety, relationship/sexual issues, ADHD, OCD, PTSD of childhood and adult trauma, addictions and those in transition regarding their personal and work lives. My approach is one of compassion and helpfulness along with expertise utilizing my skills and talents. As a mature and experienced psychiatrist and psychoanalyst and having served on the faculties of Yale Univ and Univ Calif San Diego Schols of Medicine, Depts. of Psychiatry, I am uniqely able to relate to people who need psychotherapy and/or medication. Working withpeople and witnessing their improvement is a special joy for me. Both as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst I assess and treat psychosomatic conditions and work in depth with a person. I utilize psychotherapy, cognitive/ behavioral approaches, couples treatment, psychopharmacology, meditation and a spiritual approach to render symptom relief. I enjoy my work.
