I've been practicing psychotherapy for the past 28 years and have had a private practice in Maine since 1982. I feel that my success over the years stems in large part from my ability to connect with my clients and provide a safe place to do the work of therapy. I work with clients with a wide range of problems and also have a specialty in working with eating disorders. I consider myself a friendly, active therapist with a good sense of humor. I believe that most people would consider me as someone who is both knowledgeable and comfortable to be with. Though I am familiar with most therapeutic modalities, I believe that the direction therapy takes should be informed by your particular needs and what we decide is the task at hand.
