My ideal client would be a person who is brave enough to face their struggles, open enough to try something new and different, and strong enough to implement positive change in order to improve their lives. I have worked in the mental health profession for over 12 years and enjoy serving a variety of clientele. These include military clients (both active duty and veterans), those who are struggling with grief and loss, those who need to improve their emotional regulation skills (i.e. anger), and those who are coping with relationship problems and/or divorce. I am an intensively trained EMDR therapist. EMDR Therapy often provides significant relief for those who have experienced trauma and anxiety in their lives. I'm also trained in the cognitive-behavioral model: the way we think and believe directly affects how we feel and what we do.
