I believe in focusing on what is right with a person, rather that what is wrong with them. I use encouragement and positive regard, along with creative therapeutic techniques, to foster autonomy, confidence, and self-worth. I also use expressive therapy to create a fun and dynamic experience, providing healing and growth through the use of imagination and expression. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I work with clients who are experiencing social and academic struggles, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, significant life change, or relational issues. I also specialize in chronic illness (including cancer), childhood disorders (ADHD, Developmental Disorders) and grief/loss. My clients benefit from learning coping strategies, stress management skills, relaxation techniques and emotional expression to promote confidence and sustainable change. I provide therapy for children through adults; individuals, couples, families, and groups.
