Welcome. In my psychotherapy practice, I work with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couple or family therapy. In the first session, we will develop an understanding of your present situation, your personal resources and values. We will identify your preferences for the next steps you would like to take to live a life more in keeping with your values. Based on your goals for change and/or recovery, together we will develop a plan to address your concerns. I draw on 36 years of experience in collaborating with clients to help them achieve their goals. I specialize in working with couple and family issues, and with individuals who are under the influence of depression and anxiety. I view the quailty of our relationships as the key to living a well-balanced life. I consider values and ethics as fundamental to quality clinical care. I have an MSW from Portland State University and graduated in 1976. I have practiced professional social work in a variety of settings over the years including residential treatment, family services, private practice, a family therapy training institute, and most recently a large Health Maintenance Organization.
