Sometimes people get stuck and need helping getting unstuck. I work with children and parents who are struggling in a particular area of their lives. The struggle might be social or family difficulties, academics, a mental health diagnosis or stressful major life events. Kids need a safe space built on trust where they can work through their challenges. Parents need a therapist who will collaborate with them to set and reach goals while respecting the family's natural strengths. I combine play therapy, family therapy and therapeutic conversation to help families find some short-term relief while working toward long-term solutions.
