Sometimes we all get stuck in our personal or relational life. Often this is at a time of transition when our normal coping mechanisims are not sufficient. Negative events such as losing a job or ending a relationship can stress the best of us. Positive events such as adding another child to a family or a child transitioning into adolescence or independence can also be more difficult than expected. I love helping individuals and families navigate these transition points. I can offer a fresh perspective or some additional tools that can make the difference. I am trained and licensed as a marriage and family therapist. With over twenty years of experience I have worked with a very diverse group of individuals and families. I love working with families at different stages of development. I work at finding practical, collaborative solutions usually in a brief format. I am an experienced supervisor for those working on MFT licensure. I am an Approved Supervisor for The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Kentucky MFT Board Approved Supervisor. In addition to regular office hours I see clients on Saturday mornings.
